Oyster Bay, originally a coastal farm called Graskop
is situated 22km south west of Humansdorp and 14kms
west of St Francis Bay on the Eastern Cape coast of
South Africa.
Since 1956 this farm has developed into a small
coastal hamlet that comprises of 420 stands, a
comprehensive minimarket and a resort.
Access to Oyster Bay is over dirt roads and through
farmlands and, on reaching this destination, it will
be a delight to those who are looking for a coastal
getaway that offers very little of today's modern
trappings, except for an abundance of elemental
lifestyle.
The
Oyster Bay area is renowned for its excellent rock,
surf and deep sea fishing. Safe bathing in the sea
requires earnest discretion.
